Farming 104: Attacking
So if you have followed the other farming guides, you are now ready to start attacking and getting those much needed resources.
First, while you camps are full and before you go in for the attack, make sure you have set your barracks to build the next set of troops. This will save you a little time between attacks.
Ok, so let's go in for the attack! Now, it is important to pay attention to the bases that are available to attack. You're obviously not going to go after a base that has no resources (or not enough to cover the cost of your troops). Keep searching until you find a base to attack. This could be either a base with lots of available resources OR a base that has unprotected resources. One thing to take not of is if the available loot is very high, but the storages look empty, this means the loot is in the collectors, not the storages. This is a good thing and determines where you drop your troops.
So now that you have found a base to attack, dropping your troops in the right order and in the right place is important. First, we want to distract the defenses from attacking the goblins, so drop in your barbarians or giants first. Next, drop in a couple wall breakers to bust out the walls nearest to the resources to allow the goblins to get in there quickly. So once you have a wall or two down and the defenses are distracted, start sending in the goblins. Just make sure you don't wipe out the whole base and gain too many trophies.
Every attack and base will be different, but with a little practice you will get the hang of it.
